Carl is a visionary leader, inventor, and holder of numerous patents. Carl worked for 15 years achieving top-performing distributor status globally with the A W Chesterton Company before acquiring Delta in 1994. Under Carl's stewardship, Delta has been transformed from a traditional seal manufacturing company into a technology based business solutions development company. Carl and an experienced development team have focused on innovation in the design, manufacture, sales, service, and support of industrial equipment.

Delta addresses the costly inefficiencies that exists in the maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical seals, pumps and other industrial equipment. Ed Grubb

Vice President of Operations

Ed has provided IT consulting services within the legal industry and private business for nearly 30 years. Prior to joining Delta, Ed was President and Co-Founder of Network Alternatives, Inc. (NAI), a cloud computing company founded on the premise of providing law firms with a secure, cost effective, and reliable cloud computing solution. Network Alternatives developed and marketed the first Legal Cloud Desktop, a service which continues to be used and implemented by law firms across the country today. Network Alternatives was acquired in June of 2007 by mindSHIFT Technologies (a wholly owned subsidiary of Best Buy Corporation as of 2012) where Ed held positions as both a General Manager and Vice President.

Ed is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa. where he is a current member of the External Advisory Board and an Adjunct Instructor for the newly formed Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship. Ed has been invited to speak as a subject matter expert on cloud computing at various legal industry educational conferences throughout the U.S. and has been a contributing author in a variety of publications on the topic. Prior to founding NAI, Ed was President and CEO of ACS Legal Solutions, a subsidiary of Affiliated Computer Services (ACS).

Jim Tallia, PE

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Jim has over 30 years of industrial experience including owning a successful industrial pump distributorship. Jim has worked in a variety of industries in senior level positions including oil and chemical distribution, composite manufacturing, and pre-engineered steel buildings. His first job was in a major oil refinery where his reliability focus began. Jim’s recent experience in the pump industry led to the search for a service product that would make reliability easy, Delta RMS.

Jim’s educational background includes Bachelor and Master of Engineering Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology as well as an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. Jim obtained his Professional Engineering license in 2010 and is currently studying for his doctorate.

Doug Kriebel, PE

Advisory Board

Doug has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Tech and has been working in the pump industry for over 40 years. He founded Kriebel Engineered Equipment in 1989 and has published many papers on pump hydraulics, systems, performance, and troubleshooting.

Doug is an active member of AIChE, ISPE, and the Chemical Consultants Network. He speaks at industry meetings and universities on a variety of topics. Doug was the Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year in 2011.
